Jhangar, a strategic location in Jammu and Kashmir, witnessed intense battles during the Indo-Pak War of 1947-48. The valour and sacrifices of the Regiments which participated in the operations are a testament of their conspicuous bravery and selfless service. The Regiments played a crucial role in recapturing Jhangar. Their steadfastness and tactical acumen were pivotal in repelling multiple offensives.
